Tracing the Past

A solo exhibition of mixed media drawings, paintings and thread and metal sculptures. Jane uses the history of Hastings to explore the development of social human connection. She tracks the growing complexity of human communication, from simple groups such as hunter-gatherers through to the global social-media connections of today. Alongside this she explores how changes in our connection to, and use of, landscape is impacting on our futures.
