Please could you briefly introduce yourself and tell us about your background

My name is Rae Caroline Calnan and I am the founder of Radiant Angel Energy. I have been interested & involved in all things spiritual since I was child where my parents took me to spiritualist churches, and I was surrounded by spiritual people. Although very spiritual I have an analytical mind and I like to look at how & why things work, questioning everything. My journey since I was born has led me to heal my past, create my future and take charge of my own destiny.

Please could you tell us who or what has had the most significant influence on you in your life?

Working with angels has been a very large influence in my life and definitely my parents as they never put pressure on me to follow a certain religion, career path or do anything I didn’t want to do allowing me to develop and learn to be my own unique self.

How would you describe yourself in three adjectives?

Friendly, Non-Judgemental, Accepting

What motivates you?

Assisting others with their spiritual growth in a way that empowers themselves to spread their wings, to propel them to continue on their own magnificent journey.

If you had a choice between two superpowers, being invisible or flying, which would you choose and why?

Flying as I could have an overview of what was happening and be able to experience total freedom.

What was the last gift you gave someone?

An electronic photo frame on which I had downloaded pictures of their deceased cats so they could have a continuous memory of them scrolling across the screen.

When we can travel again, what international destination would you most like to visit and why?

Bhutan is somewhere I have always wanted to travel to as it is considered the happiest country in the world and I feel drawn to visit there and its neighbour Nepal.

What was the last piece of art you purchased?

A canvas by Patrick Gamble

What work of art would you most like to own? 

I have not found it yet.

Which person (alive or dead) would you most like to have dinner with and why?

Mary Magdalene as I would love to hear her story and the wisdom and knowledge she had.

What advice would you give to those aspiring to make a living out of selling their art in 2021?

Know that whatever you create will be worth something to someone and by being present you hold the key to your future.

What key piece of advice would you give your younger self?

Connect with more people and take any chances offered to you even if they seem out of your comfort zone.

What is the most important thing to know about you?

My purpose in this life is to help others grow personally and spiritually.

Please tell us one unexpected thing about yourself.

I have no balance on moving objects.

What are your aspirations for 2021?

Grow my business so that I can own and run my own spiritual retreat, assist more people on their spiritual journey with retreats down in Glastonbury and online and in person workshops/trainings.
