Susan is an experienced textile artist and teacher who makes work with a focus on details and rhythms in nature using natural materials and plant dyes for colour. The images featured include delicate stitched repairs and surface pattern detail from a series of Sussex landscape images. Susan took part in a natural dye group who exhibited at Ditchling Museum of Art & Craft in May 2019. She will be running outdoor workshops at Sussex Prairie Gardens during summer 2020 in ‘Batik Painting with Natural Dyes’ and ‘Stitching with Natural Surfaces and Objects’.
