£1,650.00

Abstract oil painting on stretched canvas. Created in multiple textured layers. Unique, Signed, Artwork size 70cm x 70cm x 4cm, Framed size 74cm x 74cm x 5cm

"A Road Less Travelled is a literal reference to a road on the West Coast of Madeira that is rarely travelled due to deteriorating infrastructure. This road winds along the base of steep cli􀋞s with numerous waterfalls, transforming the journey into a risky adventure. While the coastal landscape o􀋞ers breathtaking beauty and ruggedness, truly appreciating it requires confronting the perilous nature of the trip. In this work, I aimed to capture the delicate balance between the thrill and apprehension of a journey, where encountering others along the way is not a common occurrence."
