PAINTING - ABSTRACT
As an artist, Silvia acts with intuition. Her artwork speaks more than words- they speak for themselves visually. Her creations appear instinctive, spontaneous and natural without preparation or planning. Silvia paints on canvas, paper and hard board. She is attracted by all the colours of the rainbow - favouring gold, orange, red, blue, yellow and the innumerable combinations of them all. Silvia also works in mixed media. She likes to embed various natural materials - little stones, cracked seashells, straw, wool, silk, cotton, plant fibres, etc.
